can my doc refuse to treat my horrible constipation?
he wants me to see another doctor. and threatens to drop me. i am all clogged again. cannot remember last bm. it is like hard and painful when i do go. doc says i don’t drink enough water. not true. is there a natural cure besides castor oil and exlax. they don’t work for me. it kind of comes out and stops and you have to break it off. any old organism cures?

Talk to the health region in your state or city!
Drink more water, i have been told that you should drink half your weight in ounces of water. If you do not drink water it could be the cause of your constipation. Also there are lots of over the counter laxatives and stool softens at your local supermarket in which you can buy and use. Prunes and prune juice also work.
Sounds like you need to take a good healthy shitt.
Your doctor can’t legally refuse to treat your constipation without referring you to another doctor. Because any other doctor in the world will say "Sorry mate. I can’t take this person ’cause you know how to treat him", your doctor won’ be ABLE to refer you to another doctor.
If you want to pursue legal action if he continues to refuse to treat you, talk to a doctor.
In the meantime, psyillium fibre, laxatives, and lots of cellulose will help you.
If he referred you to another doctor, then see that doctor. If you’re on an HMO plan, and you have to see that particular doctor, then contact your insurance company. You should be able to switch to a different primary care physician. You may want to increase your magnesium intake, also…that’s what’s in milk of magnesia.

Milk of Magnesia (aka; MOM) works well - and it doesn’t cause pain like regular laxatives would.

fisrt and foremost…no physician can threaten to drop u…it is a medical mal practice and he can be sued…and he does need to be…
well..regarding ur constipation,u may or may not have other medical cause …it needs to be ruled out…how old r u?how long do u suffer?do u bleed while u strain?
get ur thyroid checked…too..subclinical hypothyroidsim could cause constipation….
check it out..and seriously ur doc needs some legal advice..

dude if your taking any meds like librax or pain killers its might give you constipation. forget the water and stuff what you need i docusate and lots of prune juice
