Did you know that the cure for your constipation could be as simple as changing positions?

When you sit, a muscle tugs at the rectum to maintain continence. When you squat, that same muscle relaxes, and the rectum straightens; pooping becomes that much easier.

A healthy colon is not necessarily in what you eat, it’s in the way you evacuate your bowels. If this weren’t true, then why is colon cancer and many other other similar ailments virtually unexistant in Asia and many African tribes? I’m not saying that you should only eat cookies and burgers because that’s just not good.

However, you should not squat on a sitting toilet; it’s not made to support weight that way. Get a stool (DO NOT put your feet on it and sit; that is not squatting, and is almost no better than sitting), or make two short colums of bricks on which you can squat over the toilet. Or, get the "Nature’s Platform". (Google it.)

I’m not trying to sell something here (I don’t work for any of these companies).

P.S. Squatting even makes childbirth easier; it widens the vagina by more than twenty percent.
