My stomach growls constantly and it’s really embarassing, especially during class. The noise seems to come from my intestinal area and is usually a deep rumbling.

It occured to me it might be IBS, but the only symptom I have is the growling stomach. I don’t have constipation or pain, although I do pass gas more than most people.

This is starting to become a big psychological problem for me and my performance in school isn’t as good as it once was because I haven’t been able to concentrate.

I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to stop the growling or if there was any medication I could take. Thanks.

the doctor prescibed constipation syrup, diosper and procotosedyl since he said that i had constipation, anal fissures, piles. The doctor said to see the outcome after one week. During the medication period of one week. I ate fruits and vegetables everyday, and passed motion, NO blood was in the stool. i didn’t consume fruits and vegetables on two days, and when i passed motion today, there was blood. i am very scare now.

She is three and has had chronic constipation since 3 months, she is on medication to help her poop. Now she has been having fevers of 102 or more almost everyday with stomach pain, it’s been going on for three weeks and when we giver her tylenol her fever subsides along with the stomach pain but the fever comes back the next day with more stomach pain, but she’s pooping fine, and does not have any urinary problems. Her pediatrition is stumped… any suggestions?

i had a BIG problem with constipation around janurary, due to pain medication. ever since then, i’ve been very careful not to take any medicine that had constipation as a side effect. since then, i’ve been very regular, and have had no problems using the bathroom.

the other day i took some benedryl, because my allergies were horrible. it didn’t even hit me to look at the side effects. when it finally occurd, i looked and saw that constipation was the most common side effect.

im terrified to try to use the bathroom now because of that awful experience i had before.

i only took 1 benedryl. and about 30 minutes after i took it, i started mixing this fiber laxative into my drinks. i also ate lots of pears and have been staying away from really sugary drinks….

i kno this is a stupid question, but do you think one pill of benedryl is enough to cause constipation….
or do you think it takes regular dosages…

if this question is too gross i apologize…

On rare occasions my grandmother has foam coming out of her mouth while she’s sleeping. Does this link with digestive problems? She sometimes has constipation and the doctor prescribed her a new medication and I’m wondering if that has anything to do with it.

My son has had enurisis and constipation as long as we remember, and he is now 8. We have been refurred to the paeditrician and he has had various medication to try and stop the condition but nothing seems to be working. When we went for a check up today the paediatrician mentioned that he has small leg calf muscles and that coupled with the enurisis and constipation, he wants his to have an mri scan. My son was there so i didnt want to ask too many questions as i didnt want to scare him but i do wonder why he is being sent for a scan. anyone any wiser on the subject than me? anyone had the same problem?

I have recently been on a new medication that causes constipation. I recently went two weeks without any bowel movement and when I finally had to go it was the most awful experience of my life!! It was so hard and so painful and I was pushing as though I was in labor. I began to sweat to the point where I was slipping off the toilet that was soaked in my sweat, I didn’t know whether to puke, shit, urinate because it felt like a combination of the thre. It felt like a huge round rock was trying to come out buy was so hard and dry It was impossible I even got desperate that I tries to pull it out myself when after feeling as though my stomach was going to burst, knives were cutting my anus, and the urge to get this thing out all that comes is a tiny little pebble. However the next day I took miralax which had me going to the bathroom within 1/2 hr which was good I was able to push our another piece but not without excruciating pain! (blood does appear when I wipe) it stung to go and really truly feels like I’m going to tear the walls of my anal hole… I cry every single time and it makes me not want to go… I stilll have the feeling to go as though there is still some more to come but I am holding it in because I am deathly afraid of the pain I will be in. I drank a 1.5 liter bottle of water hoping that will help. Please any suggestions on how to soften it NOT to make it come out I’m already good on that part. THANK YOU

Ive been prescribed Trazodone and Lexapro, due to Trazodone making me sleep better and lexapro to control my anxiety. Ive been on both for a week. I have a question, can both medications cause constipation or worsen it? Because I have really bad constipation, I cant even poop anything out. I took 2 laxatives yesturday and took one today though the box said anywhere from 12-72 hours or something. Any help would be appreciated.
I did poop out brown-ish/clear-ish water a few times but still feel constipated

What are the pros and cons of laxatives and stool softeners. Would stool softeners be a better choice long term due to constipation due to medication?

I work night shift at a hospital and every night, when it gets slow on the hall, I have tv on my computer. This sick looking guy with acne scars is always on tv info-commercials selling a colon cleanse. He also lies about the info he gives. Ex. ( John Wayne had so many pounds of fecal matter when autopsied… Hey dude, John Wayne died of cancer and never had an autopsy) Yeah, some people, like Elvis, have Megacolons…this comes from constipation after medications..pain killers especially.. There is no way that the human body can hold as much crap as he is trying to lie about.
Yes, people can benefit from mild laxatives every now and then, but this guy and others that are selling this crap, are liars.
Have any of you ever bought this crap?
