In addition to all my questions about constipation… I just talked with the dr (appt in 10 days) and she said part of my symptoms (crampy stomach and gas) are because I’m actually intaking too much fiber.
You know - I’ve never read anywhere that you can take too much… every source says, take more - it will help.

Ahhh… I just have very bad cramps… maybe I’m just complaining and looking for others who have the same symptoms… anything I can do now to relieve some of the pain?

It’s been hurting and swollen since the end of march, my doctor couldn’t tell me what it is.
It’s swollen on the left side under my breast and is murderous to touch it (meaning it really hurts to touch it) and it’s hard and it kinda feels like my rib is popping out.
It hurts to not touch it too.
My right side has started to get sore to the touch too.
other symptoms are constipation, loss of appetite, can’t sleep at night, and can’t wake up in the morning.
it’s in the spleen area, right where the spleen is, it’s probably the spleen.

I have a lot of the symptoms of hypothyroidism including
Fatigue
Weakness
Coarse, dry hair
Muscle cramps and frequent muscle aches
Constipation
Irritability
Trouble Concentrating
Facial Swelling
Frequent Urination
I also read that acne could be caused by this (which I’m getting). I haven’t gained any weight however. In fact I’m on the definitely on the much skinnier side. Any input would be great. Thanks.

he wants me to see another doctor. and threatens to drop me. i am all clogged again. cannot remember last bm. it is like hard and painful when i do go. doc says i don’t drink enough water. not true. is there a natural cure besides castor oil and exlax. they don’t work for me. it kind of comes out and stops and you have to break it off. any old organism cures?

With out laxative’s . Is there a nutrient that will help , some thing missing from our food ?

This condition is common with people who have gallstones that blocks the bile duct and stops the flow of bile from liver to intestine..

And what can be done to cure it besides gallbladder surgery??

In Chinese medicine, this represents excess and deficiency! Excess bile in the blood that needs to be cleaned, and deficiency of bile in the intestine which results in bloating and constipation…..

Now I am looking for any drugs, herbal remedies and or even fruits and veggies that can help resolve the excess and deficiency…….any suggestions?? Thank you.

I am experiancing a anal fissure. I when to the doctor a few days after i was experiancing blood in my stool. Before this started i had sever constipation, alnost near imposible to go. When i did it hurt and was alot of strain. The doctor informed that i had hemmroids and a anal fissure. Since then i been eating a etter diet of fibers and water. Now i go to the bathroom more smothly but i still experinace ocxasinal blood and have some slight to unpleasant pain while going, like i am passing knifes and razorblades. I just want to know some thing that would help me out with the pain and occasinal bleeding. Sometimes i dont bleed at all and others i can bleed quiet a bit nothing out of the ordinary. Burbif anyone has a remedy for this issue please share.

Hi ive got a condition known as Hirschsprung’s Disease. I go to the doctors regularly asking for them to prescribe laxatives for me, which they do but none of them seem to work. Ive tried Movicol, Bisacodyl, Mirco-Lax, Lactulose, Senokot, everything! I have a pain in my stomach which is caused by the contractions of the bowel and it is very painful and annoying as im having alot of time off school (like now) and i cant concentrate at school. Basically i need someone who may be suffering with this disease to tell me what you used to get your stomach clear from blockages and to prevent constipation. Also some sort of medicine or heral remedy to help stop or even ease the pain which comes along with my stomach cramps. I’ve used Peppermint capsules too and Peppermint tea but they also dont really have no effect, along with pain killers but they aint working either. Please help im so fustrated and would like someone to tell me what they have had to stop this or someone in the profession.

10 yrs ago after my 1st child I developed piles. Every since, I’ve had occassional flare ups. My whole life I’ve had issues with constipation. About 2 yr ago I had a really bad episode leaving me (pretty much) bed-ridden for about 1 1/2 wks.
This resulted in me performing on-line research on how to control episodes. I found information that suggested a home remedy (take castorl oil + honey daily) to control the constipation which will help hender the hemmorids.
This worked wonderfully, till about 6 months ago. I started noticing bright red BIS. I contacted my physician and had a Hemocult test and the results were Negative for "BIS".
I returned to the daily home remedy and it started again. So frightened by the BIS that I stopped; I noticed that if I am not taking the home remedy there is no BIS (but I know that I subject myself to a possible episode in the future). At the onset of constipation 4mths ago, I took 2-correctol and homeremedy (last wk) and again BIS!

Doctors say IBS is having hardly …any organic cause. ..stress, anxiety precipitates IBS. people suffering from IBS can have either constipation or diarrhoea? is it true that omitting fat in diet can cure IBS permanently ? any other permanent cure remedies?
