i read about the master cleanse and salt water flush and i don’t think it’s safe. i know that there should be a bowel movement for each meal a day and i am so totally far from that

what are safe remedies, affordable and easy things i could do, i tried fiber in intakes and drinking lots of water, the dark leafy veggies and fruit… everything, it would work one day, then i go days with a a bowel movement and when i did go it would be very painful and difficult, i have been like this ever since i had my daughter going on 3 years ago, i have stopped

Ive been taking adderall (prescribed) and noticed I never go to the bathroom (#2). Does this happen to anyone else? It makes me feel bloated even though I dont eat or anything. Does anyone have any remedies or eat anything in particular to help u out with this?

i have bad stomach ache but i don’t get the urge to go for a poo,

ive been to the docs and he gave me a syrup like drink and some senna tablets, ive been taken them for three days and still haven’t gone

i seriously need help it is hurting me are there any home remedies that i can do to help,
i drink alot of water i eat plenty of veg
and other things with fibre,

if i have a fry up, i usually poop but this isnt healthy i just dont know what to do

Everyday for the past few weeks I have been constipated or had diarrhea..it’s driving me crazy and I just want to have a normal bowel movement! My belly is real swollen and I have really bad diarrhea now. And it’s not the relief kind of diarrhea. I feel like I’m going to puke all the time. And I’ll be real constipated and then try to make it better by eating something that will make me go, and then get really bad diarrhea. I’m 12. Can’t afford a doctor, and my own mom never even checks on me to make sure i’m eating!! muchless eating normal! and now i’m really sick and it’s the middle of the night and have no one to help me cause my own mom won’t help! Someone please tell me what to do about this and how I can cure it, please help me im getting really worried.

please help! im going to camp tommmorw. and i need to get this poop out of me! i know that sounds nasty, but im really fed up. Im 14, and for the past three days ive been eating Activia, and Raison Bran for breakfast! and its not helping!!!!!!!!!
I literealy just shuved 3 prunes into my mouth right now, and im really scared. I don’t want to have problems at camp (and i normally do anyways, because the toilets are so damn nasty)

I am a 43 year old woman with IBS. Usually my tummy does pretty good, or I should say normal BM’s. Lately not so good. I go from severe constipation for 4 days or so, to severe diarrhea for 2 or 3 days. This has been going on for about 3 weeks now. Currently I have gone 6 days with no BM. I have tried Phillips M.O.M., drinks lots of water, and OTC enemas and stool softeners. No relief and I am miserable. Any suggestions?

i’ve been on the pill for about half a year now. the pill i’m on is called celeste. recently, i’ve been suffering with constipation. i find it very difficult to pass stool! it really hurts and my bottom bleeds! i have a very poor diet. i don’t eat much high in fibre and i know this is a contributer to constipation! my mum bought me some senna tablets, which are classed as a herbal remedy for tradional use for the relief of occasion constipation! i haven’t taken them yet as i wanted to know if they will effect the pill, as i don’t want to get pregnant. will they be ok to use. help?

It seems a bit gross, but I have read that you can usually cure someone else’s constipation by inserting a lubricated finger into the sphincter, and rubbing the sphincter and the bottom of the rectal vault quickly in a circular motion. But apparently it’s difficult to do this to yourself, since you already "know" the path of your finger. Sort of like how it is difficult to tickle yourself.

After a while, this should - in most cases - begin to induce peristalsis. The person whose anus is being rubbed will have a strong urge to defecate.

Now obviously this will not always be a first choice for constipation relief … but why isn’t it more popular or well-known in general?

For instance, I did this once for my girlfriend. It provided very fast relief for her, as opposed to waiting for a laxative to take effect, and without the mess an enema can produce.

If two people already have an intimate relationship, this is hardly shocking stuff.

Why don’t more people know about the digital induction of rectal peristalsis?

Has anyone ever taken mineral oil for relief of constipation? If so does it make you go like once or is it an all day thing? I know its supposed to lubricate your intestine or something. hope ssomeone can help!

So i have been constipated for over 2 weeks now.
I have tried miralax all week and dried prunes.
I have been drinking tons of water.

I have terrible gas but no bowel movements. my stomach is killing me.

please help.
